Installing in text mode

How would i go about installing a window mangager in text mode because i'm thinking about downloading the peanut disto and i'm not quite shure if it has a windows magager in it because i was told it is only 60mg

It does include a Window Manager, but you can always use ftp or lynx. If you mean you already have the source tarball, follow the instruction for installing it. Almost everything presumes you have a command line interface to install. I would advise Vector Linux (http://metalab.unc.edu/vectorlinux) over Peanut but to each thier own.
