Xfree86 4.0.1 upgrade and wheel mouse

hi, I just upgraded to xfree86 4.0.1. all is good except I lost my mouse wheel. after installing 4.0.1 I went back into my XF86Config file and changed the protocal from PS/2 to IMPS/2 and I added the "ZAxisMapping 4 5" line, but I the wheel still wont work. Any ideas as to why this is? Everything worked great in 3.3

The line should read:
Options "ZaxisMapping" "4" "5"
Anything else won't work. Unfortunately The Xfree team decided to make some changes to how the XF86Config file is setup. Good luck.
