I have this problem with X - I either get too much screen resolution, or not enough. All I really want is 800 x 600 resolution for my desktop. What I get is 600 x 400, or something really, really high. I have been through xf86config SO many times & can't seem to find the right settings - anyone have a clue they can spare me?
