When i start almost any game that came with linux or even some zsnes games my comp starts to lag and i find that kinda interesting considering i have dual p3 1000mhz geforce3 382ram. Any one know how i can fix this?

Your CPU(s) and amount of RAM has little bearing on this, as its very likely you have not set up the NVidia drivers correctly. This becomes very evident when trying to run 3D HW accellerated games.

And yes, they are both for Mandrake but will be valid for most RPM-based distros (since you didn't bother to tell us what distro you are running).
