Does anyone know how I can burn CD's in vmware? My guest host is Win98...host is Mandrake 7.2...right now Win98 sees my CD-RW drive as a regular CD-Rom

I'm assuming the same is true for express....what a bummer...Thanks for your help! :) debiandude 02-03-2001, 07:38 PM Why don't you just burn your cd's from inside linux??? Its really pretty easy if you kernel is already set up for it. And if not, its not a big deal either. In your kernel selection disable ATAPI/CDROM Support, enable SCSI support, generic scsi support, and scsi cdrom support. And then get your self a nice graphical program like xcdrom or gcombust. pepe65 02-06-2001, 02:10 AM I would like to but VMware creates a virtual disk, which from what i've read so far cannot be accessed or is very hard to (if possible) in linux. I did however try win4lin, that seems to work much better so far.
