Hope you guys can help me...I need a ftp client software that will work with Irix 5.3. I know i can use the built in ftp but i need to mput alot of different files that are in different locations, and i would like to have a gui utility to do that. I am ftping to an IIS server on my network so the ftp is not an issue. If not a gui ftp client, then is there any way to mount my server drive so i can put the files on it that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does GNOME work on Irix? I use gftp. You might try doing a search at http://freshmeat.net

I dont know much about Irix but I use a sweet ftp program called IglooFTP on kde. You can download a static version so its not based on any other libraries and they claim it should run on most systems. Check it out at www.IglooFTP.com (http://www.IglooFTP.com/linux/features.html)

You don't actually need GNOME to use gftp. You just need the gtk+ libraries.
