This is wierd, I installed from source the new QT-3.0.2, which is what you need to install KDE 3, after configure, I did make and make install, I get a message that everything is installed and ok.
Then I go into kdebase and try to ./configure and it runs through a bunch of check, ending when it looks for QT, I get this error:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.2) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
The end of config.log doesn't give me anything.
I've run ldconfig -v -n /usr/lib/qt-3.0.2
I just don't get it, what do I need to do to get my system to see the new libraries?
