Installing Netscape 6.1

iam so confused ive been at it for 3days now trying to get netscape 6.1 installed on mandrake linux 8.1 .... i have no idea how to install anything in linux my default desktop enviroment is kde ... can someone help out and if you have any filesharing software (limewire, audiogalaxy) are the installs the same for that also curently thats all i really need the Netscape update and some filesharing software.... thankgod linux comes so well bundled null

This describes how to install version 4.75, but 6.1 is installed the exact same way.
