i have added these lines to my .Xdefaults to change some of Netscape:
Netscape*toolBar.destinations.isEnabled: False
Netscape*toolBar.myshopping.isEnabled: False
Netscape*toolBar.search.isEnabled: False
Netscape*toolBar.print.isEnabled: False
Netscape*toolBar.viewSecurity.isEnabled: False

these lines remove the buttons for search, print, security, shopping, and something else (go, maybe?). now i have only forward, back, reload, home, and stop (the buttons i actually use). is there some way to a) move the buttons closer (there are still spaces where the old buttons were), and b) move the location bar on to the same line with the navigation bar (i think this works in windows and IE)? by removing unused buttons, moving the ones i do use together, then moving navigation and location to the same space, i would have more screen space and less clutter. does anyone know how to do this? i feel certain it is possible.
