How do you I run gtoaster in GUI?

I found my files, dragged & dropped to the lower panel (where they listed correctly), then I clicked record.. Nothing.

I opened up the radio button on the bottom with the CD icon and found another button that said record, so I clicked it. Nothing.

My Iomega Predator is correctly identified as a CD-RW in the tree, so I assume that's not the problem, but I don't know for sure...

It would help if you posted any error messages generated.

Run it from an x terminal and if you don't understand the error messages shown in the terminal, post them here for help.

Usually burning is done from the root account unless you set up permissions for different accounts.

Have you (for ide drives) emulated scsi for the drive?

Running gtoaster as root out of XTerminal, I was able to get my CD-RW added in Preferences, which let the recording process begin. But now, when it starts to record the error message is "child exited unexpectedly"
