I've installed mgetty+sendfax on my RH6.1 server and am able to send an email to xxxxxxx@fax.mydomainname.com. It gets processed sending a fax to the xxxxxxx number but the fax being transmitted is not sending the data properly. A simple email with the message TEST gets encapsulated in HTTP code. Sending email messages with TIFF pictures attached or embeded causes the image to be uuencoded and sent as a 15+page fax rather than the image itself. That's fine if the recipient will always be another computer and the user is knowledgable enough to cut, paste and uudecode. Anyone know where in the faxspool, sendfax or ghostscript files I can tweek this to send as if the other side is a fax machine?
