Hi
iv have both of these programs set up under slack with no problems i can get postfix to deliver mail to imap to real users home directories however when i sent up virtual users in imap im not sure how to get postfix to deliver mail to the correct directory for the virtual user?
i think its something to do with the Aliases setup but im not sure any one have any ideas
after some experimentation i find i can not log into any virtual account at all im creating my virtual account like this
/usr/lib/courier-imap/sbin/userdb "principle@primaryserver.org" set home=/home/vmail \ mail=/home/vmail/Maildir-principle-primaryserver \ uid=1016 gid=100
then im creating passwords for them like this userdbpw | userdb "principle@primaryserver.org" set imappw
then i rebuild the userdb file with with the makeuserdb command the up shot of which is all the accounts i added from my system files with pw2userdb work but none of the virtual ones do i cant log into them via an imap client the system one work fine
here is my userdb file hopefully someone will be able to tell me what iv done wrong
