Ok, I just tried to install galeon 0.12.7 but it tells me that I need mozilla 0.9.5 to install along with GConf 1.0.4

The thing is that I do have both installed. If I do a --nodeps, the mozilla part is fine but the GConf part really screws up. How can I tell the galeon rpm where GConf is installed? any other sugestions??
thanx

Are you doing an rpm-upgrade or rpm-install?

Try to get the rpms from the vendor's site. Like if you're running Mandrake, get the rpm from Mandrake.
www.rpmfind.net (http://www.rpmfind.net) usually list distro-specific rpms.

If it still does not work, let us know.

Lets try not to crosspost as it's not really fair to others that post once and sit patiently waiting for a response.

If you decide to respost your question in another forum, then delete the original. Thank-you.

First I tried an RPM upgrade using --nodeps but it didn't work. so I uninstalled and now I'm at Install, not upgrade.

Unfortunatelly I couldn't find Galeon 0.12.7 for suse. Is there any way I can tell the RPM where GConf is installed?
