I was able to install RedHat 6.2 on my Fujitsu Lifebook 635T (it has a Pentium 133 processor and 16 MB of memory). Yet when I try to install RedHat 7.2 on it, I always get the message "Not enough memory to install Linux on this machine." (I want RH 7.2 for the updated KDE, updated kernel, KDE Office, and update libraries) Is there any workaround to this so that I can install RH 7.2?

Thanks.

You will not be able to run the newer versions of KDE on only 16mb. Would you install WinME or W2K on that laptop? Same thing just about.

Check the minimum requirements for Redhat 7.2

Yikes!

Thanks anyway. By the way, what window manager would you recommend for such a small memory?

I'm really only familiar with KDE, so I would suggest you have a look in the Desktop Manager forum as I'm sure this question get's asked quite a bit there.
