Hi all,

I just got my Laptop, which is a Sony Vaio FX401. It is based on AMD mobile Duron 800. I wonder if anyone here has got experience on installing Linux on such a laptop or installing Linux on general. Any input appreciated.

On most full size notebooks, it should be a snap. I think the only thing not supported is the Connexant HCF Winmodem. Last time I tried the linmodem driver for Rockwells, it didn't work on a Vaio.
