I have a box with a G200 and a Compaq S910 monitor.
The S910 is a 19" .26 monitor, they have pretty good 2D quality.
And the G200 should need no introduction, one of the best 2D cards out there.
Yet in XFree86 I get really bad 2D quality, it's decent in the middle of the monitor, but around the edges, it sucks big time.
Funny thing, I have another comp with yet another S910, and a Voodoo3, right next to this one, and the 2D is great.
Does anyone know of any problems with G200's and XFree?
I've tried this with FreeBSD 4.4, Debain, and RedHat 7.1, all running XFree 4.1.0, and KDE 2.2.x.
