Alright, I have decided that I want to be able to print to a single printer from both computers on my home network. On the network, I have my pc running mandrake 8.0 and an imac running OS 9.0. They will be printing to an Epson 740 connected to my mandrake machine. I figured out, that the most simple and cheap way to do this would be using netatalk, but I am getting a number of errors compiling. I will try and post the errors I get after I get home (am at work right now), but does anyone know anything about this stuff? I am a newbie and I get errors 1 and 2 trying to compile netatalk. Also, if anyone has done this before, what are the steps to getting this running smoothly.
I know this is a bit open right now, but I'll send a more clear message with the errors later tonight. Thanks!
p.s. I guess, in hindsight, this should be in networking. :)
