I was wondering, do any owners of this mobo have mouse problems in X where the mouse is unstable and jumps around?

Mine jumped around like crazy in mandrake and is doing the same in other distros, just not as bad as in drake.

Apparently this mobo has some "win95" mouse stability problems that a new BIOS is supposed to fix. However, I can't find any more information on my motherboard and the BIOS has very little written documentation on their website (http://www.abit-usa.com/english/index.htm). Did anyone flash their BIOS with version TY, and if so, did it fix your mouse problem?

Been quite a few posts in the main forums here on 'erratic' mouse behaviour in X. A search may find a simple solution for you.

Been having this problem for a long time, and I've been searching the forums for a long time. None of the solutions thus far have worked, especially the make sure your configuration is correct. I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem now.

Have you tried a different mouse?
The mouse could have a problem.
I do not have the Abit mobo though.

Yes I have. I'm just going to use USB and buy a USB hub. Oh well.

this is what I had w/ my KA& motherboard. I use a serial mouse for the time until they came out w/ the TY version of my bios. Also check for northbridge chipset updates.
