I would like to dual boot Linux/win 2000 on a KT7 Raid motherboard, I am wondering what kind of nightmares I could run into? IS there a Distro of Linux that will support the Raid setup easily?

Paul bdg1983 02-04-2001, 03:54 PM Well, Abit itself put out a distro called Gentus a while back that was supposed to support the RAID setup out of the box, but the website's not up right now. I suggest a search either through the forums here or on Google (http://www.google.com) for Gentus. I know I downloaded an iso from somewhere once upon a time, but I don't remember where... On the other hand, I seriously doubt that they have managed to hack the HARDWARE raid in that distro? Software raid is still the way to go for IDE disks (as far as I know). justlinux.com
