If someone could help me go get my External printer port zip drive to work in Linux. I've tryed following the linxnewbie information but still won't work. :confused:
Can someone help me. I'm new to linux.
I'm using Mandrake 7.2
if you can put the steps to get it working.
from what to open where and how to config etc....

I had the same problem when I first installed drake 7.2
Drake 7.1 saw the zip drive on the install.
Here is what I had to do to get it to work
Make a directory in the mnt directory.
mk\mnt\zip
goto the hard drake config program. Under file system, add the zip drive. Set it to supermount.
I am sure that I possibly missed a step there, but that is the basics of what I had to do to get my zip drive to work. I think that the drake hardware config program will make a mnt\zip directory for you. I did it myself.
