I'm running a SB sound card in my home brew
AMD 450 Linux-only system. I suspect I have interrupt problems when trying to install a microphone and/or a joystick. Neither one works and no more sound came out of the sound card. I removed the toys and the sound came back.
For whatever reason, I couldn't find anything in the FAQs on these items on installing them on a configured system. Any arrows in the appropriate direction or suggestions would be appreciated.
A second question - I've tried to set up sounds during window manager activities and can't get anything, even a test sound. Suggestions?
