KVM probs please help

I recently got linksys 2-port kvm (kvm100sk), and to get straight to the point linux isnt likin it.

When in linux the mouse jumps all over the place, highlights text, pastes, and lord knows what elese, in both console and X. Its sorta like when I try running my mouse (intellimouse) under X without using the IMPS/2 driver. However, on my windows box everything works fine. Anyone know where to start?

Get rid of gpm? Try

killall gpm

as root, then check it out to see if it helps. If so, just stop gpm from starting when you boot.

No avail, mouse ran just as awkward as before.......also i like using the mouse in console
