OK, their OS's suck but Microsoft makes (or made) a great keyboard.
I need to buy another one for my new system but there's this problem. The original M$ ergo keyboard apparently isn't being made any more. They have the "Elite" version which is smaller and has the Home, End, Page up, Page down, Insert, Delete keys in the wrong place (2 vertical rows instead of 2 horizontal rows). OR they have the new "Deluxe" model that has all those special "web buttons" and crap all over the top. BUT, the deluxe version is the same size as the old keyboard which I like and has the keys in the right places.
So, has anyone used this Deluxe monstrosity with Linux? I don't care if the CD button controls work or not, I just want an ergo keyboard with the keys in the same places on all my computers. Does the non-crap part of the keyboard work OK?
Of course, if you know of a source for the original M$ keyboard I'd love to buy 2 or 3 of those just to have around for parts.
Thanks
