HP CD-RW help for storm linux 2000

it dose'nt see it @ all i have it set up as Slave it works in mandrake(all) how do I set it up? Its a hp 8200i 4x4x32 if that helps.

You need to recompile your kernel with scsi emulation support. Of course, I am assuming that your CDRW is an IDE drive. You could probably search this forum for more information. There are also some pretty good web sites dealing with this issue.
