Sound Error Messages

Does anyone know what this error message means and what I should do to fix it?

"Sound server fatal error: cpu overload, aborting"

I used to get that error message a few months ago though I can't remember what I did to fix it.

I know I did Google searches and also searched the KDE bug reports.

Can anyone else give me an ideas as to what I should be looking for to resolve this error message? klrmar :confused:
