Hi everyone, first off I want to thank everyone who has contrib to this site...its great :)
On to my problem. I have a triple boot system set up with Linux, WinME and Win2K. They are each on thier own partition. The linux partition has a root, swap, and usr partition. as well I also have three more fat32 partitions on the drive for data. all is going well exept that when I try to view my d_drive(oone of the data drives) thru kde I get a wierd error and the window that opens freezes up. As I'm typing this I realized I should try to go in thru the command line to see if i can access it. But Im not quite sure this will work. Any suggestions folks.
p.s. I was able to view the D rive at one point, it just recntly stopped. No, nothing out of the ordinary happened that i can think of.
Again thanks for everyones help :p

Could you post the relevant line in /etc/fstab that points to that particular partition you are having problems with?

The error message would certainly help.

Can WinME/2K read the partition ok?

Yes both Winderz can read the partition with no problem. as far as I know the path is /mnt/win_d
Im not sure on the device path...but when I get home I will look in to it.
As far as an error there is none. Teh KDE window just freezes up and I have to kill it
