CD audio

Hi can someone help
i get this message when i try to play a audio cd /dev/hdd: input/output error
mount: i could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specifed

What are you using when trying to play the cd? xmms? other?

hi
i am useing xmms or any of the others
the cd drive will see data , files
but not audio cds

You can't mount an audio CD. Just tell XMMS to open /mnt/cdrom and it should play the CD
