hi, this is my first time posting here.

i have a few IBM EtherJet 10BaseT ISA adapters lying around, and i would like to use these in my server. the problem is that i cant install the module. it has the crystal cx8920 chip on it, and i have read on Deja about people getting it to work. with the help of Damaged from Anandtech Forums, i was able to become familiar with what is involved, but i am still unable to configure it.

i have the Base address of 320, and the IRQ of 11. any help is GREATLY appreciated http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

It's said to be supported on Red Hat HCL. If it's so, it looks like you can get it work with any distro you may have since you did not say which distro you are using. Here is the RH HCL listing. http://redhat.com/support/hardware/intel/62/rh6.2-hcl-i.ld-11.html . The module name is cs89x0.o. You may need to specify IP, IRQ and media as well. Try with IP address of 0x300 and IRQ of 11 since some ISA cards do require you to use the exact IO channel.

Hope this helps.
