I'm wanting to setup a box so that it has no eyes, ears, or mouth... just sitting there serving web content... no monitor, no keyboard, no nothing... instead, I want to be able to use a direct serial connection from my laptop to admin it (don't ask why, it's really just for me to learn stuff with)... but here's the catch, the laptop has WindowsME on it... basically what I want to do is to use Terra Term Pro for terminal stuff and some type of file transfer program for transfering files...
So my question is this, what do I need to do to my Linux box for this to happen? It's running Slackware 7.1 btw... just some basic terminal and file stuff over a serial port is all I need... thanks... http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif
