RH7 USB Support

Running RH7 on a laptop that has a USB port, which is not being recognized.

Searching the web, found a How-To USB doc, but it was a lot of techie-talk about some minor programming of the kernal.

But I'm not a programmar and most of it was over my head.
So can anyone help or tell me the easy way to get my USB port recognized and enabled???

tell the system that u have a usb mouse then once it reboots u should see something about USB if u don't chekc BIOS to see if u have it enabled.
