Trying to add this to my Linux box. The kernel sees it when it detects my IDE chain. It's a basic ATAPI drive. It's at /dev/hdd...but when I go to fdisk it, I get an error saying driver is not present. Any help is appreciated. I can't mount it either, same error.

Don't have a Zip drive myself (LS120), but I know there's info here (http://linux.nf/stepbystep.htm) on Zip drives.

Try using /dev/hdd4. My buddys zipdrive needs to be refered to as that.

Thanks that link worked great, just didn't know I needed the ide-floppy module.

Appreciate it

Your welcome. Glad you got it working.

I remember reading about zip drives at that site and saw mention of ide-floppy. Who would have thought.
