Anybody knows how to make a drive region-free on linux or a proggie like dvdgenie??

Region locking (apart from the DVD rom) is present in Windows in a software layer and this is why you need DVDGenie and similar.
There is no such thing in linux. Like everything else, you're free to use anything you want. Just use Ogle that comes with libdcss to play encoded DVD.
Make sure it is legal to use it in your country though (i.e. everywhere in the world apart from USA -check www.thefreeworld.net (http://www.thefreeworld.net))
