Hello all
I posted an Aargh gnashing of teeth some days ago and some were kind enough to have made their help available. I guess that I am simply writing to say what a really great time I am having with Linux. This is written using the Linux, not my MS machine which I had been using previously. I've been navigating and playing around in my file system for the last couple of days and even got some scripts to run, and made a Python script executable. In short, I'm having a wonderful time and just wanted to share that pleasure with a group of folk who will, no doubt, understand EXACTLY what I'm talking about!!

We certainly do understand what you are talking about. We've all been there.

Glad you're enjoying Linux and don't forget to read, read and then do more reading on Linux. There's lots to learn.

Now you're using a real operating system and not one of those toy ones from MS. :)
