Toshiba laptop?

Hi Guys,
I've just joined this group - so apols if this has been covered already.
Im just about to get a Toshiba Satellite PIII laptop running windoze ME.
I would really like to dual boot this with a Linux distro - anyone done this successfully or know of any problems?

Dualbooting will be no problem though you could have problems with X, soundcard and if you have a winmodem.

I would suggest you lookup your particular model at http://www.linux-laptop.net/ to see what to expect and get suggestions.
