Is it possible to connect a MAC keyboard to my pc and use it under linux?

I know this sounds like a strange question, but I really like those tiny keyboards.

USB keyboard - it should work, you'd have to sort the keymaps out.

ADB keyboard - not without an KMV adapter that would cost more than just finding a small PS/2 or USB keyboard, like maybe the Happy Hacking Keyboard (http://www.pfuca.com/products/hhkb/hhkbindex.html) or, for the True Geek and the enlightened few, an IBM Model M Space Saver (http://users.lanminds.com/~daisy/modelm.htm).

some of those really small keyboards can get expensive.

i've got a fairly small and thin one at home. i can look at the model/make later if you want. i inherited it from someone else, so i dunno where to get it without seeing what it is first.

I would love that Happy Hacker Keyboard, though I have no credit card (I'm in Europe, it's just not so custom to have on here).

I guess that other the IBM Model M Space Saver is just a nice edited pic, right?

On the contrary, my man.

The Model M, along with a few others like the Omni Key, are the chosen boards among the uber 1337 ;). These are oldschool mechanical keyboards that are very tactile and give and audible click (plus they're heavy). The Model M Space Saver is just one model in the M series and is the real deal.

I happen to use a Dell model AT101W (black) board that uses the same ALPS mechanical keyswitch mechanism as the Omni Key, which some argue was the best board ever made. The cruel irony is I still type like sh!t and chicks just don't seem all that impressed by it. :(

How about one of those nice Sun Type 5 keyboards? I love the way the keys feel. Any way to get oneto work on a PC?

It is? I couldn't name any of my friends that don't have at least one credit card and anyone over the age of 25 is considered a bit of a freak if they don't have one. What part of Europe are you from? If you're in the East then it wouldn't suprise me quite as much.
