X output to TV?

I'm planning on building an all-in-one home entertainment system sometime soon, and I was wondering what kind of hardware I'd need to pipe X's output to a TV.

(..bleh.. I tried to explain it better, but the words just aren't coming out right. Maybe later.)

My old TNT had tv-out, worked quite well actually.

Matrox G450's have tv-out, but at this point in time you can't take advantage of the feature with the current drivers.
