I just deleted my linux partition on my hard drive so I could free up more space. The problem is I can't get a hold of the freed up space. I have a dos c partition that uses about 2% of the drive and an extended dos d partition that uses 74% of the drive. The other 24% was my Linux partition. I want to give the free 24% to the c:\, but I cant get a hold of it?
Thanks Jutah

you would need to resize the partition. fips is the tool for this, it runs under windows and is probably located on the linux cd in a directory called dositils.

I looked and fips and talked to some people and they said that fips wouldn't do it. They said that I need to use partition magic. Is there any freeware that does the same thing as pmagic?
thanks

Ranish PARTED is often mentioned here.
Try freshmeat.net (actually the first place I would look for any software).
