A while back I had thought I had fried my mouse, but out of curiosity, I plugged it back into the USB port and it had light! (it's an optical mouse) I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but the light won't come back. I'm not going crazy, I swear.
I'm now questioning whether or not my mouse is fried.
What had happend that made me think that it was fried was that we had plugged the USB port in backwards and we could feel the mouse warm up pretty quickly. The reason we did that was because it wouldn't get any power in the first place, so we thought we might have put the port in incorrectly.
Oh yeah, my mobo's an Intel 440FX (a Pentium Pro mobo), if that helps any.
