Can I put PC100 RAM into a machine alongside PC133 RAM without screwing things up? If not, what about replacing the 133MHz chip with the 100Mhz one(The PC100 is 256MB & the PC133 is 64MB)?

Yes you can use both although the system will run the speed of the slowest ram.

Let's say you have in your PC 2x256MB pc133 and 1x32MB pc100. The system will run at 100.

You have to weigh the advantage of whether it is worth adding the slower memory or not. Since the pc100 memory is 256MB, it will offset the decrease in speed.

Careful. If your system requires PC133 RAM, you may run into problems if your PC100 DIMM cannot keep up (there are some PC100 DIMMs that can run at 133Mhz).
