USB Modem!

I am running Mandrake 7.2, and i had to get a external modem (long story) so i got a "Boca 56k v.90 External USB Modem for PC"
i heard from someone that a USB modem would work.

but i can't find the modem in linux, any ideas?

the installation guide sayes this modem is only compatible with the following operating systems: Windows 98 and 95(OSR2)

probably really is only compatable with win, do a search on the web for linux and usb and see what turns up
