I have an external parallel port Backpack CDROM drive... I've used the drivers.img and the paride.img driver disks at the initial install, but neither seem to recognized the parallel cdrom drive. At one point I got the error: "Failed to insert PCD" ?? Anyway, has anyone successfuly installed RH 7 on a PC using an external CDROM drive? The modules disk will probe for more hardware and perhaps detect the external CD.
