Ok, I'm trying to find out what I can do to get this NIC (model PA301) working in Linux Mandrake. I just put Mandrake on my pc today behind Win98. Im verry new to Linux and would have no idea how to compile the kernel. I don't think that the card would work even if I did know how to do that. So if anyone knows differently or where I can go on the net to find the info I need please point me there. One more thing, I've been messing around with Mandrake and have already had like three crash notices from some lizard guy. Could this have anything to do with Windows being on the same hard drive. Another thing is when I'm trying to personalize the desktop in KDE it freezes and I have to reset the pc. It could be that I have only 32mbs of memmory. Its an old Dell OptiPlex and uses the older and more exspensive memmory (i can't think of what it scalled!). Instead of getting more memmory for this pc I'm just building a new one. Anyways thanks in advance for any help :)
