CD problems

I use Slackware 3.5, and when i try to use Workbone or wokman I get the follinging message:

/dev/cdrom: Too many symbolic links encountered

Can anyone please advise how I can remedy this? Let me know if I need to provide more information. thanks!-JL

never mind! I fixed it..turns out the default sym link to /dev/cdrom points back to itself'stead of /dev/hdc. thanks anyway!

lol. Here's a good example of linux vs windows, linux quickly realises that it is overflowing and gives you an error message and stops. Windows would just infinite-loop until you pushed the reset button http://www.linuxplanet.com/discussion/smile.gif
