Has anyone successfully configured SMC EZ Connect 802.11a wireless adapater (for laptop) either on Mandrake 8.1 or SuSE 8.0? I would greatly appreciate if anybody could help me out with this!

Sorry as I've never used/tried wireless yet, so I'll just suggest you try searching Google ( www.google.com/linux (http://www.google.com/linux) ) for 'SMC EZ Connect' or 802.11a to see if there is something to help.
Hopefully someone else here has experience with wireless networking and will be able to assist you.
