I've got two Ethernet NIC cards in my box, the first one is identified as "Macronix MX98715 / MX98725 (rev 32)", and is autodetected by the tulip module on startup (at least, that's what I figure is doing it... I didn't do any setup for that one, and I don't know much about how the network modules work).
However, the second card, which is a Linksys "Network Everywhere" NC100 model card, doesn't get detected at all. I checked /proc/pci, and it shows up as:
Ethernet controller: Unknown vendor Unknown device (rev 17).
Vendor id=1317. Device id=985.
I went to the Linksys site, and they say their cards use the tulip module that I'm using for the other card as well. According to the Ethernet-HOWTO, tulip should detect BOTH cards automatically... Is this correct?
Anyway, I can't figure out how to get that second card working at all. Any tips on how to configure this card would be greatly appreciated. :-)
