Hi gang, I'm teaching myself to use postfix and dovecot to host my own email system.
hostname for my mailserver is something like myserver.homelinux.org
it runs on Debian 5.0 Lenny.
I have postfix, dovecot and squirrelmail installed.
unix system accounts (users in the password file) can send and receive email.
The problem is that I don't want email addresses used as me@myserver.homelinux.org ....
I want to be able to use me@example.com or me@example2.com etc ... in other words the other domains that I host from this server via Apache2.
I've been looking into the docs for postfix and the mydestination parameter in /etc/postfix/main.cf and it says you have to add your other domains in there, after the canonical domain (computer's hostname) etc.
Anybody here have more experience with this that can shed some light on this for me?
thnx
