Dual boot adding xp to unbuntu

I have 8.04 lts on a pentium III machine, It all works fine, current on all updates.

I want to add XP I have a install CD & registry key.
I've added a partition using Gpart
I could use a little guidance please...

When I do a search I can find the more normal procedure adding unbuntu to an existing XP installation

I don't want to start from scratch, I like the Hardy Heron set up as it I'm configured now & not sure i could get back here LOL

Take a look at this Grub (http://www.justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?p=837905#post837905) howto look at section C3: this will get you started. If you have a second drive you can install window to the second drive, have that drive set as slave then boot to the master drive that has Ubuntu on it and edit your grub menu.lst and map the drive for the windows entry.
