unable to open terminal in GNOME session

Hi
Today i installed RHEL5.4 client on my desktop

i am able to open the terminal in KDE session and not able to open terminal in GNOME session

i am getting the option of "open terminal" in GNOME session right click but not able to open it

could any one help me to resolved this problem
