How do you post a thread to a mailing-list?

Hi guys!

I am posting this in the Newbies' Corner, because I'm a n00b, so far as mailing-lists are concerned.

Actually, I was having a problem cross-compiling GPG4Win on Ubuntu. I've registered myself with the GPG4Win mailing-list, but have since hit a brick wall.

So, how does one post a thread to a mailing-list?
