I have a small problem with my desktop environment.
The most noticeable is that the 5 leftmost pixels of the screen are showing up on the right side of the monitor. That I could live with, but the think that bothers me is that when I try to select text, pick a HTML form radio button or try to interact with anything that has a small interface, it seems to require me to compensate for the 5 pixels. I've tried playing with the monitor settings and nothing seems to effect it. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this, where the problem roots or how I can figure that out.
I've tried google but it didn't come up with anything even remotely resembling the problem I'm having.
I will be buying a new monitor soon, my old one died and now I'm using this POS that has 1024x768 at 57HZ. I will test to see if it's an issue with the monitor or what.
I'm running slackware 12.1 with Gnome Slack Build.
